You can tell from my title that I am loving the buffalo plaid! Almost all of our decorations are buffalo plaid and/or gnomes! When we lived in our house, I did not decorate much, maybe a small tree, but not much else. I did decorate my office at work, but I donated all those decorations.
Our tree is a collapsible, 5 foot, tinsel tree with fairy lights. I found it on amazon. I bought a green one and a gold one and I liked the gold one better so I donated the green one. I do have more ornaments for the tree, but I did not put them on. Tucker showed interest in the ornaments on the tree in the campground office, so I didn’t want to take a chance. The tree skirt, I got from Dollar Tree! It fits perfectly for our small tree.
Our stockings, the 2 “human” stockings are from amazon as well. I got the paw-print ones at Petco. I have a small string of gnome fairy lights around the stockings that I got at Aldi a few years ago, and I never used them until now. I had another strand that had campers instead of gnomes and I put them around our kitchen island, but they ended up getting broke. They were very fragile.
I did have our door hanger on our door, but the storm we had this past weekend ended up blowing so hard that it took the command strip off the door and I have not put it back up yet (no more command strips). I got the door hanger and our bathmat from Dollar General.
The ceramic tree on our table was bought at Lowes a few years ago and is probably the only decoration I kept from our house decorations. It is about a foot tall.
I would like to do more decorations, but we are limited on storage space. I do love the small amount we have. I think I may check out some stores after the holidays to see if they have some discount decorations that can fit in our storage tote.
OH! I almost forgot, we have an inflatable Clark Griswald!
We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! Be on the lookout for our Christmas dinner recipe/blog post. Our Thanksgiving recipe/blog post is our THIRD highest viewed post. I was shocked!
