I know it has been a while since I have posted a blog. Honestly, I have been being lazy. I have been working, but not enough to stop me from blogging. I just didn’t have much to talk about. But I wanted to keep everyone updated on what’s going on.
Tomorrow we will be leaving Pine Island RV and Marina. We have been here since November 10th. I was a little hesitant when we first got here because there was not much to do around here. Now that we are leaving, I really am going to miss it. We have made some great friends and I have had a chance to really relax and catch up on what was needed to be done (insurance and stuff like that). I got to spend a lot of time with my babies (Moxxi and Tucker) and my Hunny (Brian). I’m not going to lie, living in 300 square feet, we get on each others nerves quickly most days, but we love each other and we get over it.
Our trip will include four Harvest Hosts locations and one KOA. Two of the four Harvest Hosts will be new locations, and the other two are ones we really loved. First will be the drive-in in South Carolina again, then a honey bee farm in North Carolina, the country store in Virginia again, then a farmers market in New Jersey. There were no locations on our way from New Jersey to Maine, so we had to book a site at Boston KOA (which is not near Boston). Then we will be back at Timberland Acres RV Park by Friday and I will be back at work by Monday.
I have been making plans to go see the other side of Acadia National Park while we are back in Maine. I didn’t realize that we only seen one part of the park last year and we have so much more to see. We will also celebrating a milestone anniversary while in Maine this summer, so I need to find something special to do/go for that in June. I have also been planning a trip to Everglades National Park this winter when we will be back in Florida, and also a short cruise to the Bahamas. I am not familiar with the Everglades at all so anyone that has tips or dog friendly places to stay, or of any other must see things in Florida, let us know! That is just who I am, I am always planning in my head.
I will update everyone when we are in Maine with all the Harvest Hosts we stayed at. I think that is one of the top 10 things I love about full-time RV Life, all the Harvest Host locations that we can stop at.
If you have not already, follow our Facebook page and Instagram. Brian does more of the Instagram stuff since I am not really into that. We post a lot of great sunset pics and alligators on there!
