I know it’s been a while since I have added a new blog. We haven’t been doing much. I have been working and trying to put as much money as I can towards paying off the truck repairs we had done over the winter, which means no fun stuff, that costs money at least.
Brian got a part-time job working at a restaurant not far from our campground. He works a few evenings a week. He will also be hosting a trivia night at the campground every other Tuesday.
I still love my job. I only really have thing that has been bothering me, not about the job but the tourists. I park my truck a few blocks away from where I work, so I walk a lot. There are so many people that will NOT move over even though they see me and others walking right towards them. I just want to scream hello! you are not the only person on this planet! Move over! The best is when there is a big group of people walking side by side and they look right at me, so I just ram into them. It bothered me last year, but not as much as it is bothering me this year. I don’t understand what happened to common courtesy, but tourist definitely don’t have it. Ok, sorry I’ll end my rant.
We celebrated Brian’s 51st birthday and our 15 year wedding anniversary. We did go on the LuLu Lobster Boat Ride for our anniversary. I can’t tell you much about it, as I was sick for most of it because of choppy waters. It was fun other than the nausea.
We have also had a team building event at work at the Granite Museum on Mount Desert Island. It was fun. We learned about the different types of granite and we even got to crack open a big ol’ granite rock!
Well, we wish everyone a happy father’s day!
