Thursday was my last day of work for the 2024 season. This summer flew by! It feels like we just got to Maine, and here we are packing up to head out tomorrow. It was a fun summer, even though we did not do much since Brian and I worked opposite schedules this summer.
Last night, my employer had an end of season or “I survived the 2024 season” dinner party and it was SO MUCH FUN! I really feel like we are a small family instead of coworkers and that makes all the frustration of dealing with tourists worth it! I really do consider them my Oli’s Trolley Family and I cannot wait to come back next summer, but until then, I will relax for a few weeks before looking for a part-time job in Florida and go on a cruise with my family.
The campground that we are staying at again this winter had some flooding and damage from Hurricane Milton, but it seems that they have almost all the clean up done.
Anyways, we are getting ready to head out tomorrow, so I will keep this blog short and sweet. We go from Maine to New Hampshire to Connecticut to New Jersey to Virginia to South Carolina to Georgia, then Florida. Five stops at Harvest Host locations, and five nights at a campground. See you in 10 days Florida!
Here are the pictures I got from our party last night. I got some videos too, but I wont embarrass anyone! Donna and I made the centerpieces, Lauren decorated and stuffed the gift bags, quite a few people gave their pictures to hang on the wall of memories, and Sheila, Lauren, and I decorated the room before everyone arrived. Brian designed the t shirts and drink tickets.
