The last few weeks have been packed for us. We had Christmas Eve appetizers and some games and Christmas Day dinner, (a low country boil) and games with some great friends here at the campground. We had tons of fun playing left right center, a memory game with Christmas bows, Christmas Trivia, and so many other games. We also did a white elephant gift exchange. Here are some pictures. Sorry if there are doubles, I have collected them from three separate sources.
Christmas Eve:
Christmas Day:
The Friday after Christmas, the whole campground gathered at Kim and Todd’s camper for Fish Fry Friday! There we finished off the Christmas Cookies and some of the sides/appetizers leftover. We had a good time meeting all new people.
New Years Eve, we all got together again and had Sausage and Shells (find that in the recipes section), bacon wrapped chestnuts, bacon wrapped shrimp, salad, Utica Greens, and blueberry dump cake. We also played some more games! We didn’t get any pictures of the food, unfortunately, but we did get some of the fun!
New Years Eve:
Then New Year’s Day is also Tuckers Birthday! I made him and Moxxi pupcakes and he shared with with campground friends Lilly, Hobo, Sassy, and Zeke. See below my first homemade piping bag and it did not work out… but I made it work. I’ll add this recipe to the recipe section soon.
Overall, it has been a long but fun filled holiday season for us. We miss our families, but Brian got to video chat with his side of the family. Now I will be off to the Bahamas with my family in a few days!
