Ingredients:
24 oz of fresh green beans
1/4 cup melted butter
7 tbls soy sauce
2/3 cups brown sugar
1/2 tbls garlic powder
8 slices of bacon
Instructions:
Cook bacon in cold oven (not preheated, trust me it works) for 20 minutes or until crispy
Mix melted butter with soy sauce, garlic powder, and brown sugar
Once bacon is cooked, cut into smaller pieces or crumble.
To the bacon drippings, add in green beans.
Pour the butter mixture on green beans, then top with bacon
Cook in oven at 350 degrees for 40 minutes, tossing every 15 minutes.
Serve warm!
This went great with some smoked lemon pepper wings we had. I think it would go great with ham or any grilled chicken.
